The farmhouse is 3 km far from the medioeval hamlet of montegiove (xiii c. Castle). It's located in a very quite and relaxing hilly area near the border with tuscany and lazio so it is strategically located for those willing to comfortably visit the majority of the most important central italian art cities and site. This area is also particularly recommended for nice and interesting walks as many naturalistic paths and historical and cultural sites are reacheble from the house. In 10 minutes walking (900 m.) you can reach and visit "la scarzuola", a francescan monastery of 1218 (with one of the first portrait of san francesco) next to which the architect tommaso buzzi planned and built an amazing and incredible architectonical complex.
